Delair refrigeration dryers operate by cooling compressed air to near the freezing point, causing water vapour to condense so it can be separated and drained. Delair’s refrigeration dryers provide a best pressure dew point of +3°C to +4°C followed by Quality standard of ISO 8573-1:2010 Class 3 under specified conditions.

Desiccant Dryers are used when applications require a much higher level of dryness than refrigeration drying can provide. Delair’s DD/DC Series uses adsorption technology to remove water vapour from compressed air and can achieve Atmospheric Dew Point (ADP) of (-) 40°C to (-) 60°C, with capability up to -70°C followed by Quality standard of ISO 8573-1:2010 Class 1.

They are suited to applications where stringent moisture control is required or where operating conditions demand very dry compressed air.
